Description: 1964 Sewart Seacraft 65' Research Vessel “AQUARIUS”

GENERAL:    Built by Sewart Seacraft, Berwick, LA in 1964 from a stock crew boat design. 
Operated in the Gulf of Mexico as a crew boat until 1972 when vessel was acquired by the
University and converted to an estuarine research vessel.

UMCES Research Fleet Operations facility dock at the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory in Solomons, MD.
